About Our Congregation

We are an Open and Affirming Congregation. For us, that means we are accepting and welcoming of all those who seek a place of sanctuary and fellowship. We do not discriminate against race, nationality, religious orientation or sexual orientation. We believe that we are all God’s children and were created good … in God’s image.

We are a community of believers who try our best to not be judgmental, but rather open and accepting. We follow the teachings of Jesus Christ and worship him as our God, our Lord and Savior. We are not infallible, but we strive to live our lives as Jesus taught, loving our neighbor as ourselves.

We are friendly and kind to all who enter our doors. We believe God gave each of us a mind with which to reason and choose right from wrong. We extend a hand to all in friendship and to all who need the help of the church.

We are imperfect humans who have accepted the forgiveness of a loving God and a Savior who has given everything for us. And our hope is that we can convey that message to you, not in words, but in our actions and in our lives.

We welcome you to worship with us anytime, and invite you to join us in our quest to be an inviting and faithful congregation.
